Description
NATURE OF TASKS  Analysis of Business requirements.  Documentation of Business requirements.  Business model analysis.  Business process analysis  Business processes modelling  Functional requirements and business cases analysis.  Risk analysis.  Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters and Security Plans LEVEL OF EDUCATION  Min. a bachelor’s level or 3 years of higher education SPECIFIC EXPERTISE AND TECHNOLOGIES At least 1 year of specific expertise in Good knowledge of information systems matters At least 1 year of specific expertise in Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes At least 3 years of specific expertise in Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.). At least 3 years of specific expertise in Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value At least 1 year of specific expertise in Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites. At least 3 years of specific expertise in Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile) At least 5 years of specific expertise in Knowledge of confluence and Jira KNOWLEDGE AND (NON-TECHNICAL) SKILLS  Rapid self-starting capability.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis.  Capability to speak to business and technical audiences.  Strong capacity to give high-level presentations. Excellent critical thinker, by using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.  Ability to apply high quality standards.  Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, excellent communicator.  Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment. Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation such as the European Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:  Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;  Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;  Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;  Excellent Team Player  Ability to understand, speak other EU languages will be an advantage;  High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained in that department contain personal and confidential data
