Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (Banking/Financial Services) Location: Brussels Project: Analysis for core banking system flows, migrating from one core banking system to another. Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Freelance Role Overview: The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering and translating business needs into clear and actionable requirements, and acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to define the target (TO BE) state, supporting implementation, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: · Perform business analysis of existing processes and identify improvement opportunities · Gather, analyze, and document business requirements · Translate business needs into functional specifications and acceptance criteria · Design and document business flows and target operating models (TO BE) · Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams · Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present proposed solutions · Support testing activities (UAT) and validate deliverables · Monitor IT developments and ensure alignment with requirements · Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings · Contribute to Agile ceremonies and project delivery Candidate Requirements: · Minimum 7 years of experience in the banking/financial sector · At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst · Strong understanding of IT environments and system integration · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills · Proactive, hands-on, and autonomous working style · Adaptable, versatile, and eager to learn · Strong communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders · Experience working in Agile environments · Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) · Fluent in English and either French or Dutch Contract Details Location: Brussels Duration: End of 2026 – With extensions Rate: Negotiable
