Workster is partnering with a leading global content moderation provider to recruit a Bulgarian Content Moderator for a full-time on-site role in Athens, Greece. In this position, you will review, assess and action user-generated content across digital platforms to ensure compliance with client policies and local regulations. You will work in a fast-paced, international moderation team, helping to maintain safe and engaging experiences for platform users while applying consistent, unbiased decision-making. Your Role • Review and moderate user-generated content (text, images, video, and live streams) according to client guidelines and legal requirements • Make accurate, timely decisions to remove, escalate, label or approve content, ensuring consistency and quality • Use internal tools and workflows to log actions, provide rationale and maintain audit-ready records • Escalate complex or borderline cases to senior moderators or specialised teams when required • Communicate clearly with peers and leads about trends, recurring issues and potential policy improvements • Contribute to knowledge base updates and participate in regular calibration and quality assurance sessions • Work rotational shifts to provide coverage across peak periods, including occasional evenings and weekends Your Qualifications • Native or near-native Bulgarian (C2) and fluent English (B2+) for internal communication and reporting • Strong written communication skills with an ability to apply policies objectively and sensitively • Comfortable making quick, well-reasoned decisions in a high-volume environment • Experience in content moderation, trust & safety, community management or related roles is advantageous • Good digital literacy and ability to learn new platforms and moderation tools quickly • Resilience and emotional maturity when handling sensitive or disturbing content; support mechanisms are provided • Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural team and adapt to evolving policies and priorities • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills The Offer • Full-time position based in Athens, Greece (on-site) with competitive salary aligned to experience • Rotational shifts (including evenings and weekends) to ensure 24/7 coverage • Paid training and structured onboarding with ongoing coaching and quality feedback • Modern office facilities, ergonomic workstation and equipment provided • Comprehensive benefits package in line with Greek labour law and supplemental perks where applicable • Supportive, multicultural team environment with opportunities for career progression • Mental health and wellbeing support for moderators exposed to challenging content • Continuous training and professional development programs to expand skills and responsibilities
