Description
An established multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking a Building Surveyor to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, delivering a mix of professional and project-led surveying services for clients across the public and private sectors. The Role As a Building Surveyor, you will be involved in delivering a broad range of surveying services, including: • Contract administration and project management. • Dilapidations (acting for both landlords and tenants). • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes. • Technical due diligence and acquisition surveys. • Building pathology investigations. • Defect diagnosis and reporting. • Condition surveys and asset management advice. • Refurbishment and alteration projects. • Party Wall matters (desirable but not essential). • Supporting clients with statutory compliance and building safety requirements. Projects span a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial and public sector estates. Candidate Requirements • Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline. • Working towards or already holding MRICS status (preferred but not essential). • Previous consultancy experience delivering both professional and project work. • Good knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and construction methods. • Strong report writing and communication skills. • Excellent client-facing abilities with a proactive approach to service delivery. • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. • Full UK driving licence is advantageous.
