• Building Surveyor – Bournemouth, Dorset (APC / MRICS) • Salary - £40,000 - £48,000 An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary construction and property consultancy in Bournemouth. Originally founded as a building surveying practice, the business has grown into a highly regarded consultancy delivering services across Building Surveying, Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Dispute Resolution. They work across a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public sector projects. This role is ideally suited to someone part-way through their APC or newly chartered , looking to develop within a supportive and technically strong environment. Full APC support is provided. Role & Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor: • Undertaking a range of building surveying services across multiple sectors • Carrying out condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical reporting • Supporting and delivering contract administration on refurbishment projects • Preparing specifications and schedules of work • Supporting planned maintenance and asset management instructions • Liaising with clients, contractors and consultants • Managing your own workload with support from senior team members Skills & Experience of the Building Surveyor: • Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline • Part-way through APC or recently MRICS qualified • Strong technical understanding of construction and building pathology • Excellent communication and client-facing skills • Proactive and keen to develop within a consultancy environment Salary & Benefits: • £40,000 - £48,000 base • Market leading bonus scheme • Full APC support and structured training • Professional fees paid • Hybrid working • Strong career progression opportunities • Exposure to a wide range of sectors and projects • Supportive and collaborative team culture This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing consultancy with a strong reputation and a varied project portfolio, offering excellent long-term career development.
