ROLE SUMMARY As a trusted and strategic partner to the business, the Group Communications Team is responsible for shaping, protecting and strengthening the reputation of Global University Systems, ensuring that the Group’s vision, values and impact are understood by the audiences that matter most. Operating across corporate affairs, brand and content, external engagement and partnerships, and colleague communications, the team develops and delivers strategic communications that strengthen stakeholder confidence, support business priorities and safeguard the Group’s reputation and credibility. By aligning communications with organisational objectives, we enhance visibility, build advocacy and create compelling reasons for stakeholders to trust, engage with and champion Global University Systems and its institutions. This role supports the delivery of brand, content, design, digital communications and administrative work across the Group Communications Team, ensuring all activity is executed efficiently, consistently and in line with agreed standards and timelines. Working closely with the Brand & Content Director, the wider Group Communications and Creative teams, the role focuses on content and design execution, channel management, project coordination and administrative support across all key communications activities. KEY ACTIVITIES Design Support and Execution Support the application of the Group brand strategy and visual identity across all communications materials Create the design of various communications assets, including but not limited to posters, marketing collateral for the website, email templates, presentations, social media ads, etc., using brand guidelines Project manage complex design requests with the external Creative team, from brief to final delivery, managing feedback at every stage Maintain and update brand assets, templates and internal files, including SharePoint and other shared folders, to ensure materials remain accurate, accessible and up to date Apply brand guidelines consistently when preparing communications materials Content Delivery and Editorial Execution Write and edit Group-level content, including but not limited to website content, social media campaigns, corporate reports, employer branding and marketing materials Ensure all content is clear, consistent, audience-focused and aligned with the Group’s positioning and reputation goals Support initiatives to strengthen storytelling and messaging across communications channels, ensuring the Group communicates its impact effectively Support the delivery of content across channels, ensuring communications follow the agreed tone of voice and editorial standards Digital Channels and Audience Engagement Support the day-to-day execution and management of the Group’s digital communications channels, including but not limited to the corporate website and Group social media channels Keep track of content across all Group digital channels and monitor audience engagement to help ensure a consistent and compelling brand experience across all digital touchpoints Manage the content calendar across multiple Group-owned channels, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and communications objectives Use audience insight, analytics and performance
