The Boiler Performance Manager is responsible for supervising boiler performance engineering activities associated with BPS projects, including department workload planning, proposal support, contract execution, engineering quality, schedule adherence, and technical deliverables. Essential Responsibilities Update the department manpower loading plan monthly. Use the workload plan to support the following decisions: Individual engineer assignments. Overall project schedules. Engineering overtime requirements. Engineering support required from outside the department. Oversee contract execution from the Contract Kick-off meeting through completion of the Acceptance Test Report and conclusion of results engineering. Oversee proposal efforts, including preliminary design, clarifications and exceptions, man-hour estimates, risk assessments, and schedule development. Understand, update, and maintain Boiler Performance ISO work instructions. Conduct annual performance reviews and submit appraisals for individual engineers. Attend weekly BPS Engineering contract and proposal status meetings. Monitor contract man-hour estimates, meet established targets, and document changes affecting man-hours. Monitor contract schedules, meet established milestones, and document deviations. Maintain communication with the project scheduler and Project Engineer regarding schedule changes. Oversee, review, and approve studies, reports, thermal calculations, predictions, and guarantees.
