Responsibilities of a Body Shop Painter entail: • Color match, tint, and mix paint to color codes and product specs appropriately • Apply paint in prescribed manner utilizing provided painting equipment • Inspect painted unit for quality of painting including runs, streaks, sags, and unpainted areas • Maintain, repair, and clean painting equipment and painting booth • Assemble and disassemble trucks to prepare for repair and refinishing • Mask and protect panels and trim for paint process • Mix primer according to specifications and apply thoroughly CIT Trucks, LLC. provides a comprehensive wage and benefits package that includes: • Boot reimbursement at $150 annually • Prescription safety glasses up to $175 annually • Tool assistance program • Paid holidays and PTO • Choice between 3 wide-ranging medical plans with prescription coverage • Option to participate in HSA or FSA savings accounts • Access to dental and vision insurance • Short- and long-term disability coverage • Company paid life insurance, as well as additional voluntary life insurance for self and family • 401(k) retirement planning that has a dollar-for-dollar employer match up to 4% Requirements The requirements to be a Body Shop Painter: • Must be at least 18 years old • High School diploma or GED required • 3-5 years of painting experience preferred • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a DOT medical card • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 100 pounds
