Gender: Any Candidate Nationality: Any Job Type: Full-time Role Context The BMS Technician is responsible for maintaining daily visibility and control of building automation systems that support critical resort infrastructure. The role monitors alarms, equipment conditions and operating parameters while assisting maintenance teams with diagnostics, rectification and system optimization. Accurate monitoring and timely response help improve HVAC performance, reduce equipment downtime, support energy efficiency and maintain dependable building services for guests and operational teams. Key Responsibilities * Monitor and operate Building Management System screens, controllers and associated automation interfaces. * Review alarms, system notifications and abnormal operating conditions throughout each shift. * Respond to BMS faults and carry out appropriate corrective action within assigned technical authority. * Escalate unresolved or critical faults to supervisors and the responsible Team Leader. * Troubleshoot control panels, field controllers and building automation equipment. * Inspect sensors, actuators, Variable Frequency Drives and associated field devices. * Diagnose performance issues affecting BMS-connected mechanical and electrical systems. * Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance of control system components. * Support calibration, repair and replacement of sensors and other BMS-related devices. * Assist with installation and testing of new or replacement automation equipment. * Optimize HVAC operation using available BMS control functions and system data. * Monitor pumps, fans and mechanical equipment through the building automation platform. * Coordinate adjustments with HVAC teams when temperature, pressure or operating parameters require attention. * Work with Electrical and Mechanical teams when faults involve multiple building systems. * Support equipment integration and verify correct communication between field devices and BMS controls. * Maintain routine logs covering system conditions, alarms and key operating parameters. * Monitor energy-related information and identify unusual consumption or equipment behavior. * Report abnormal readings, recurring alarms and performance deviations to responsible supervisors. * Review control drawings and schematics when investigating faults. * Maintain BMS panels, control rooms and technical work areas in clean and orderly condition. * Follow facility HSE requirements and approved procedures during troubleshooting and maintenance activities. * Recommend practical improvements to system performance, reliability and energy efficiency. * Support Technician-1 during more complex diagnostic or maintenance activities. * Assist with knowledge transfer and technical training when required. * Maintain clear records of completed work and outstanding system issues. Ideal Profile * Diploma or ITI qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or an equivalent technical discipline. * Minimum 2-3 years of practical BMS experience in a similar building or facilities environment. * Working knowledge of Siemens BMS platforms or equivalent building automation systems. * Experience monitoring and troubleshooting HVAC controls. * Familiarity with sensors, actuators, VFDs, alarms and field controllers. * Ability to read technical drawings and control schematics. * Understanding of pumps, fans and other BMS-connected mechanical equipment. * Experience supporting energy monitoring and equipment optimization. * Basic understanding of building automation architecture and control logic. * Comfortable coordinating technical activities with HVAC, Electrical and Mechanical teams. * Ability to identify faults, perform initial diagnostics and escalate complex issues appropriately. * Basic computer skills for BMS operation, logging and maintenance reporting. * Strong attention to safety and facility operating procedures.
