We are working with a well-established engineering business that is looking to appoint an experienced BIM Engineer to become a key member of its design team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, mentoring others through example, and helping to drive high-quality BIM delivery across major rail projects. You'll be joining a supportive team working on MEP-focused rail infrastructure schemes, using industry-leading digital engineering tools to deliver high-quality design solutions. As BIM Engineer, you will work closely with senior management and the wider design team, taking responsibility for BIM delivery on a range of rail projects. This is a hands-on role where you'll play an important part in maintaining technical standards, supporting project delivery, and helping to develop the team's BIM capability. Essential Requirements • Minimum 6 to 7 years' experience in a BIM Engineering role. • Previous experience working within the rail sector. • Experience delivering MEP projects within rail infrastructure. • Strong knowledge of Bentley software. • Advanced proficiency using Open Buildings Designer in both 2D and 3D environments. • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach. • Able to work confidently within a fast-paced project environment. Desirable Experience • Experience using Revit. Please note that during the initial three-month probation period, the successful candidate will be expected to work from the office five days per week to support onboarding and integration into the team. If you're looking for an opportunity to join a growing team where you can make a real impact on major rail infrastructure projects, we'd love to hear from you.
