Telehealth Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)- Part-Time MindCare Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will excel in acute and chronic psychiatric care, delivering high-quality mental health services to patients in various settings. This role involves rounding in the BHUs and providing support services to the ED and Med-Surg floors, as well as supporting the PACE program. Bilingual (Spanish) required. Compensation: 1099 , negotiable Hours: p art-time, dayshift - flexible Why Choose Us? • MindCare Solutions stands out by empowering Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to practice to the fullest extent of their scope • We maintain the highest standard of care by integrating evidence-based practices and the latest advancements • Our commitment to professional growth including fellowship and residency programs, supported by robust training and mentorship • Our prioritization of employee support through multi-tiered clinical assistance, flexible scheduling, and competitive salaries • Our culture fosters a genuine commitment to patient well-being, reflecting our organizational DNA of Service Excellence in every aspect of mental health care services Duties/Responsibilities: • Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for PACE participants with acute and chronic mental health conditions. • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions. • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary PACE team, including physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists, and the collaborating psychiatrist, to ensure coordinated participant care. • Provide ongoing psychiatric follow-up, crisis intervention, and behavioral health support across care settings. • Educate participants and caregivers on mental health conditions, medications, and treatment options. • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance behavioral health services within the PACE program. Qualifications: • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health • Current and unrestricted PMHNP license in CA • Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) • Minimum of 1-year clinical experience as a PMHNP, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting • Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment • Active and unrestricted DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) (We will help obtain) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team • Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners will maintain clinical competency & collaboration with Psychiatrist (we will provide) About MindCare Solutions MindCare Solutions is a premier provider of behavioral health services, supporting hospitals, emergency departments, inpatient behavioral health units, long-term care centers, correctional settings and various other clinical settings.
