Our client is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Bilingual Legal Assistant to support their legal team in ensuring efficient office operations and effective case management. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and legal support under the direct supervision of an attorney, contributing to the smooth and effective functioning of the office. Key Responsibilities: • Provide general administrative support to attorneys and enhance the overall efficiency of the office. • Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters, both in-person and over the phone. • Prepare, file, and organize legal documents and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and monitor important deadlines to ensure timely case progression. • Handle incoming phone calls, direct inquiries, and maintain a professional and welcoming environment for clients and visitors. • Maintain confidential client files and ensure compliance with legal documentation procedures. • Assist with general office tasks, including organizing records and maintaining office supplies. Qualifications: • Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is required. • Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Prior experience in a legal environment preferred. • Familiarity with Clio or similar legal case management software is a plus. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
