Role: Bilingual Japanese Account Manager
Location: Philippines (Hybrid)
Reporting to: Hub Operations Lead

As a Bilingual Account Manager (Japan & SEA, you sit within the Center of Success (CoS) and work cross-functionally with Sales, Trading, DnA, Product, L&D, and Marketing, with a primary focus on supporting our Japan business and Japanese-speaking stakeholders. You are accountable for the health and growth of key Japan and SEA accounts, keeping clients happy, protecting revenue, and unlocking new opportunities across the JAPAC footprint.
What you’ll be doing
Your main responsibilities will include:
Ad Operations and Client Servicing
Own day-to-day servicing for your client portfolio; be the go-to contact for stakeholders across JAPAC.
Ensure SLAs are met and campaign operations are seamless; surface risks early and partner with relevant teams to fix them.
Resolve or escalate client issues quickly and calmly, bringing in the right people at the right time.
Listen actively to clients and internal teams, translating needs into clear actions and opportunities.
Maintain regular touchpoints (status calls, reviews, QBRs) that strengthen relationships and open doors for growth.
Act as a “ trusted advisor” , balancing client priorities with what’s right for MiQ and CoS.
Support localization of client-facing materials (decks, reports, emails) to ensure clear, culturally appropriate communication in Japanese and English.
Campaign Operations & Insight Management (85%)
Pre-campaign:
Manage IOs and keep a clear view of the Sales pipeline (Salesforce CRM)
QA briefs and pre campaign docs to ensure feasibility, accuracy and alignment to client goals and MiQ best practice.
Project manage creative asset builds & other campaign setup requirements, coordinating across Trading, Design and external partners.
Manage creative tag trafficking
Campaign activation:
Provide clients with timely screengrabs and proof of performance updates.
Ensure reporting is correctly set up and focused on the KPIs that matter.
Monitor pacing and performance, working with Trading and DnA to optimise and course correct.
Protect and grow MiQ’s accounts via upsell/cross-sell
Troubleshoot campaign issues with the support of AM peers/Trading function
End of campaign:
Interrogate post-campaign data in partnership with Trading, Sales and DnA teams to identify trends, drivers and optimisation opportunities, translating complex metrics into clear, insight-led narratives aligned to client KPIs and campaign objectives.
Deliver robust reporting and forward-looking recommendations, connecting performance outcomes to business impact and informing future strategy/roadmaps and budget allocation.
Manage re‑booking of BAU activity to ensure continuity of revenue and a smooth client experience. Support booking reconciliation and invoice query resolution
Innovation (15%)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Native or near‑native Japanese (N1) and business‑level English, both written and spoken; able to switch quickly and comfortably between languages in calls, emails, and documentation.
At least 2+ years client-facing experience.
