Interstates is looking for a current BICSI Technician, or current BICSI Certified Trainer (CT), professional ready to take the next step in their career by helping shape the next generation of technicians. As a BICSI Certified Trainer (CT), you’ll lead hands-on instruction, mentor developing technicians, and help raise the standard for structured cabling excellence across the industry. This role is ideal for someone who still loves the craft but wants to invest their experience into teaching, coaching, and building others up. Key Responsibilities: Deliver BICSI curriculum in accordance with BICSI standards Lead classroom instruction, hands-on labs, and student evaluations Prepare students for successful completion of BICSI certification exams Maintain required training records, attendance, and documentation Ensure training tools, equipment, and facilities meet BICSI ATF standards Support BICSI audits, site visits, and continuous improvement efforts Demonstrate advanced copper and fiber installation, testing, and troubleshooting Reinforce safety standards and model quality workmanship Mentor technicians and provide constructive feedback Qualifications: Required Current BICSI Technician  certification in good standing BICSI authorized (CT) status, or ability to obtain 5–7+ years of structured cabling or ICT field experience Advanced knowledge of copper and fiber systems, testing, and troubleshooting Strong communication and facilitation skills for adult learners Preferred Experience teaching in a BICSI Authorized Training Facility (ATF) Additional BICSI credentials (RCDD, RTPM, DCDC, OPS etc.) Experience supporting BICSI ATF audits Familiarity with industry test platforms (Fluke, VIAVI, EXFO, etc.) Field leadership or supervisory experience Location: This position is based at our Omaha, NE office and may also support training at additional locations as needed. Travel: Travel will be required to support training delivery at other company locations.
