Get paid – AS you work PURPOSE STATEMENT: This individual is responsible for providing therapeutic assistance to patients and functions as a direct liaison to the Director of Counseling regarding the status of the therapeutic community. Responsibilities Qualifications: High School Graduate or equivalent. One or more years’ experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred. 6 months experience performing the duties of a BHA II preferred. CPR / CPI (Offered at facility). Current driver’s license—Good DMV record. Knowledge of 12-step recovery programs. Ability to work with male/female, adult (18-over) substance abuse/dually diagnosed/opiate dependent population. Must be able to work with culturally diverse populations. OTHER FUNCTIONS: · Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: · High school diploma or equivalent required. · One or more years’ experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred. · 6 months experience performing the duties of a BHA2 preferred.
