Role Purpose: The Beauty Trainer is responsible for developing and elevating the capabilities of our retail teams through engaging training, coaching, and performance development initiatives. The role focuses on strengthening product knowledge, makeup artistry, selling skills, customer experience, and retail execution to enable Beauty Advisors and Brand Ambassadors to confidently represent our brands, deliver exceptional client experiences, and achieve strong commercial results across all retail locations and sales channels. Key Responsibilities: Training and Facilitation Develop, adapt, and deliver engaging training programmes covering product knowledge, makeup techniques, skincare, fragrance, consultation skills, customer service, selling skills, and brand standards. Conduct beauty masterclasses, demonstrations, workshops, and other learning activities for Beauty Advisors, Brand Ambassadors, and relevant retail partners. Ensure training content and delivery methods are aligned with brand guidelines, business priorities, and the learning needs of the retail teams. Attend relevant Train-the-Trainer sessions, education seminars, and development workshops, and effectively cascade the learning to local retail teams. Complete and maintain the relevant brand certifications or assessments required to conduct brand training and beauty masterclasses. In-Store Coaching and Performance Development Conduct regular store visits and provide hands-on coaching to improve retail employees’ product knowledge, makeup artistry, consultation skills, selling behaviours, confidence, and overall performance. Observe retail performance and identify individual or team capability gaps through field observations, stakeholder feedback, and relevant retail performance indicators. Develop and implement targeted coaching and development action plans in partnership with the Brand, Retail, and Training teams. Provide timely follow-up and ongoing coaching to ensure that learning is effectively applied on the retail floor. Support the continuous development and progression of Beauty Advisors and Brand Ambassadors.
