📋 Description • Design, test, and build statistical models and reports for the Mystics. • Collaborate with programmers, developers, statisticians, analysts, and data scientists on research • Support decision-making for Washington Mystics alongside front office. • Translate data-driven results into actionable basketball decisions and recommendations. • Integrate novel research, metrics, and models into applications. • Summarize data from existing and new partners in innovative ways. 🎯 Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in STEM (Statistics, Mathematics, CS, Data Science, etc.). • Experience with basketball data, including play-by-play and tracking data (e.g., Second Spectrum). • Proficiency with SQL and database tools. • Experience using Python, R, or other statistical languages. • Data visualization fundamentals and tools; strong analytical skills and communication. • High integrity, ability to handle confidential information, and strong time management. 🎁 Benefits • Pay range: $110k - 130k USD. • Eligible for health and welfare benefits.
