Your profile
• Professional experience: Relevant and several years of experience as a bartender – ideally in upscale gastronomy.
• Expertise: Sound knowledge in preparing cocktails and other drinks as well as in bar and till operation, oenological knowledge.
• Communication skills: Excellent communication skills in German and/or English, along with the ability to keep a cool head even in demanding situations.
• Teamwork: The ability to work effectively in a team and integrate quickly into an existing team.
• Appearance: A well-groomed appearance and a positive charisma.
• Organizational talent: Excellent organizational skills and reliability.
• Flexibility: Resilience under stress and flexibility, especially during the guest rush at peak times or during high-alpine weather changes.
• Personal responsibility: A high degree of independence, a sense of responsibility, and a proactive way of working.
• Awareness of detail and aesthetics: A keen eye for detail as well as a sense for aesthetics and appealing presentation.
• Commute: For winter sports fans, the commute can be done by ski or snowboard – including first and last line on the empty slopes.
Your responsibilities
• Bar operations: Responsibility for the smooth running of the bar, including the preparation and presentation of cocktails and other drinks.
• Guest care: Ensuring high guest satisfaction through friendly and professional service as well as competent advice on beverage selection.
• Mise en place: Preparation and organisation of the bar to ensure efficient service.
• Quality assurance: Ensuring the consistently high quality of all beverages and adherence to recipes.
• Cash handling: Responsibility for the accounting and management of the bar till.
• Hygiene & safety: Compliance with hygiene regulations and safety standards at the bar.
• Mountain hut experience: Actively helping to shape the mountain hut experience as the „calling card of the Wedelhütte“.

We offer full-time employment with 6-day week (48 hrs.) with 1 – 2 evening shifts per week incl. attractive Gross wage from € 3,100.– (pay above the Hotel & Gastronomy collective agreement, with the option of additional adjustment depending on qualifications). On top of that, you also get a share of the tips, holiday and Christmas bonuses (pro rata), free board and lodging, and other goodies!
