Bartender Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is currently recruiting for experienced Bartender to join the Team. The Ballymascanlon Hotel is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, this impressive Victorian House forms the heart of this Hotel. It is one of the most remarkable historical estates in Ireland dating back to 833 A.D. Main duties and responsibilities: • To serve bar guests their orders promptly and courteously • To serve beverages at the weddings at other evening functions • To accurately record guest orders and serves beverage orders • To ensure proper garnishing of drinks • To processes guest checks accurately • To ensure that the working area and station is stocked with “mise-en-place” and kept clean and tidy at all times • To maintain a thorough working knowledge of the bar menu, wine and beer list, and content of drinks to be able to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales accordingly • To promote additional sales by taking opportunities to up-sell in a manner that is professional and courteous • To liaise with the Bar Manager concerning set-ups and reservations • To adhere to the Responsible Service of Alcohol policy • Has full knowledge of alcohol and liquor policies and regulations, and complies fully with them About the role Qualifications: • Fluent English and excellent communication skills • Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends, public holidays • Previous experience working in a Food & Beverage environment i.e. hotel, restaurant, bar Employee Benefits: • Meals on duty • Refer a Friend Program • Employee Assistance Program • Employee Recognition Awards • Team Member Accommodation & F&B discounts in Windward Management properties • Complimentary parking References: • All employment offers made are subject to a valid work permit and us receiving a satisfactory reference About Windward Management Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is managed by Windward Management.
