Description Join our team as a Seasonal Bartender and deliver an exceptional bar and dining experience for our guests. In this guest-facing role, you’ll prepare and serve beverages, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain a clean and efficient bar environment. Position Details • Employment Type: Seasonal • Shift: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays) • Department: Food & Beverage What You’ll Do • Provide friendly, engaging service to guests, creating a welcoming bar atmosphere • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes • Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with all laws and resort policies • Operate POS system to open/close tabs, process payments, and manage transactions accurately • Set up bar area with necessary supplies, equipment, and inventory prior to service • Restock liquor, beer, wine, and bar supplies throughout shift • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, including counters, equipment, and storage spaces • Monitor guest consumption and avoid over-serving, ensuring a safe environment • Assist with banquet or event bar setups based on event orders and contracts • Conduct inventory counts, track usage, and complete required reporting • Break down and close bar, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and accounted for • Work collaboratively with barbacks and team members to ensure smooth operations • Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations Requirements What We’re Looking For • Must be at least 18 years or older • 1–2 years of previous bartending experience required • Experience with POS systems (restaurant or bar environment preferred) • Valid Bartender License (City of Delavan or ability to obtain) • Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and bar operations • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment • Professional, outgoing personality with a team-oriented mindset • Knowledge of alcohol laws and responsible serving practices Physical Requirements • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40lbs regularly (kegs, cases, supplies) • Frequent reaching, bending, and repetitive motion • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous movement Work Environment • Fast-paced bar and restaurant setting within a resort environment • High guest interaction in a lively, social atmosphere • Exposure to moderate noise levels, crowds, and busy service periods • Requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak seasons • Team-oriented environment with a focus on guest satisfaction and service standards About Lake Lawn Resort Located on Delavan Lake, Lake Lawn Resort is a premier hospitality destination known for exceptional service and a strong team culture.
