The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:  Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to company standards  Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the POS system  Provide a welcoming and positive experience for all guests Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including counters, equipment, and seating areas Restock supplies such as cups, lids, syrups, and food items as needed Assist with opening and closing duties Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations Adhere to all Inns of Aurora disciplinary policies and code of conduct, as outlined in the Inns of Aurora handbook. Qualifications:  Previous barista, cashier, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy setting Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting Ability to maintain neat, professional and clean appearance and practices Flexibility with hourly schedules, including weekend, holiday and evening availabilities Requirements Ability to have a flexible schedule Computer skills Excellent verbal skills Excellent organizational skills Keen attention to detail Ability to problem solve Ability to work independently Ability to maintain neat, professional and clean work environment PREFERENCES 1-2 years cash handling experience Previous food service experience Benefits We are proud to offer outstanding benefits to all of our employees.
