Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: • Byron Center Trinity Health Medical Center Byron Center Cafe. Provides food and beverage services in a small urgent care or clinic café setting while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Delivers excellent customer service and supports daily café operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Food & Beverage Service • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other beverages • Prepare light food items (snacks, sandwiches, packaged meals) • Maintain quality and consistency of beverages and food Cleanliness & Sanitation • Keep café and service areas clean, organized, and fully stocked • Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines • Clean equipment, counters, and seating areas regularly Customer Service • Greet patients, staff, and visitors in a friendly, professional manner • Take orders accurately and efficiently • Handle customer requests and resolve minor concerns Operations Support • Operate POS system and handle cash/credit transactions • Restock supplies, beverages, and food items • Monitor inventory and notify supervisors of shortages Qualifications Education • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Experience • Previous barista, café, or food service experience preferred • Customer service experience required Our Commitment Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
