(Last year over 1,100 staff members celebrated their fifth season or more at Deer Valley). • Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resorts • Friends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only) • Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shift • Subsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staff • Discounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park City • Healthcare options are available for staff members • 401k plan with company match PURPOSE OF POSITION :  The   Baker   I   is   responsible for   assisting   in the presentation, display ,   and production of baked goods and pastries   with an   emphasis on quality,   appearance   and service. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist   in preparing baked goods and other items as needed, following the prep list and designated recipes and procedures • Display baked goods creatively and keep displays well-stocked, clean, and organized • Present a courteous attitude to guests, going out of the way to   offer assistance , on the phone or in person • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment • Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum of 3 months of experience in baking or culinary school • Must be able to work a variety of shifts including early morning and evening shifts, at all four lodges • Must provide work shoes, French knife and other knives, spatulas ,   and pastry tools • Able to stand   for   long periods   of time • Able to lift and carry full sheet pans PAY RATE: • Pay: $20.00 - 22.5 per hour  DOE Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
