What You Will Do Provide dedicated support in a 24-hour residential home for adults with disabilities, ensuring consistency in care. Empower residents by assisting with daily tasks such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and engaging with the local community. Implement the Active Support Model , focusing on helping residents achieve personal goals and maintain independence. Build meaningful, trusted relationships with residents, adapting support to each person’s preferences regarding communication, sensory needs, and physical abilities. Take on key worker responsibilities, ensuring that residents’ needs and goals are central to their care plan. Supervise and offer guidance to Band 3 Support Workers , fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Maintain a valid driving license and use service vehicles to assist with residents’ community participation and outings. About You Passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Flexible and committed, with a strong desire to support others in leading fulfilling lives. Able to work a shift system and flexible enough to cover nights and weekends as needed.
