Away Brand Representative – Visual Merchandising We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned retail professional to join our team as a visual merchandising independent contractor. As a 1099 contractor for our Away Travel Brand Rep Program, you will be responsible for completing merchandising and some associate training for the brand within retailers such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, Nordstrom, etc. Hours do vary by locations/territory. This is a supplemental 1099 contractor role. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • Execute visual merchandising according to planograms and brand directives • Maintain product presentation standards and stock levels • Educate and inform store management and associates about brand initiatives and product knowledge • Build strong relationships with store teams to support brand success • Engage with customers as needed to promote the Away Travel brand Submit store visit reports, including before-and-after photos and written summaries, using ThirdChannel technology on a smart device SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Away Travel is relying upon attention to detail with these visits. With this in mind, the ideal candidate would possess the following: • Previous visual merchandising experience, preferably in retail • Passion for the AWAY brand and/or luxury/premium travel accessories • Strong attention to detail and visual presentation skills • Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and problem-solve COMPENSATION AND PERKS • This is a 1099 independent contractor position • Compensation starting at $24/hour (rate based on Market and relevant experience) • Design your own flexible work schedule in agreement with store management • Build merchandising, inventory and customer service experience JOB DETAILS + REQUIREMENTS • Immediate start date upon completion of self-guided onboarding process • A smart device with internet access (iOS 17.0 or above, Android phones on version 13.0 or above) ThirdChannel provides the ONLY in-store and online retail technology solution driven by passionate brand experts.
