Who are we hiring:   Aviation Maintenance Mechanic supports the maintenance team in performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance, inspections, and engine run and taxi operations on company  aircraft  under the technical supervision of the Senior Crew Chief and Director of Maintenance. The role  assists  in  maintaining  spare parts inventory, facilitating upkeep of ground support equipment, hangar, and facilities, and actively  participating  in the Aviation Department's Safety Management System (SMS).        What will you do?    Assist  and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance, inspections, engine run and taxi operations that conform to the standards  established  by the manufacturers, regulations, and industry best practices under the technical supervision of the Senior Crew Chief & Director of Maintenance.   Assist  in  maintaining spare parts inventory to include ordering, shipping, and receiving. Facilitate routine maintenance & upkeep of all ground support equipment, hangar, and facilities, including assurance of snow removal.   Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and could work flexible hours as  determined  by the flight schedule of a High Reliability Operations environment which  operates  24/7/365.   Provide active participation in the Aviation Departments Safety Management System (SMS). Works as an integral member of the maintenance team to develop, implement, and evaluate growth and development projects to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the maintenance department, and MSG Aviation as a whole.   FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings – Required. Working knowledge of MS Office suite. Capabilities in CAMP/CMP,  Flightdocs , or other web-based maintenance systems. Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.         What do you need to succeed?      2-4 years of related experience   Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience   FAA Airframe and Powerplant Inspection Authorization a plus   1-3 years of Fortune level aviation maintenance and avionics experience a plus   Satcom Direct aeroIT certification a plus   Airmen Certificate a plus.       Special Requirements:   This is a n  onsite   position  needing the  flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as  determined  by the flight schedule.     #LI- Onsite      At MSG, we recognize the importance of upskilling employees’ talents and strengths so they can drive their careers fo
