Description Automotive Technician/Mechanic SIGN ON BONUS- $1,000 (Paid out after 90 days of employment) Growing national auto auction company! America's Auto Auction - Columbus Fair is looking for an outstanding Automotive Technician/Mechanic. Rewards for Automotive Technician/Mechanic • Hourly pay based on experience (NOT FLAT RATE) • Monday - Friday 8-5 • Full benefits • Paid holiday • Paid time off • Matching 401(k) Responsibilities for Automotive Technician/Mechanic • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on cars, vans, and light trucks • Perform engine tune-ups and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues • Repair or replace parts and components as needed • Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Provide courteous, efficient customer service • Communicate operational concerns to management in a timely manner • Work independently and collaboratively with the team Requirements • Perform additional duties as assigned • 2+ years of automotive technician/mechanic experience. • Must be at least 21 years old. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Good set of tools (specialty tools provided). • Knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques. • Strong attention to detail and safety practices. • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and staff. • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. • Able to prioritize tasks and handle urgent repairs. • Works independently and as part of a team. • Reliable, accountable, and professional. Physical Requirements for Automotive Technician / Mechanic: • Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor operational environments. • Ability to use tools and mechanical equipment safely.
