€2500 • €3600 / Monthly rate Permanent Athens | Onsite Our client is a leading manufacturing company investing in automation systems that improve production efficiency and build long-term operational reliability. The role exists to bring hands-on automation engineering expertise to a team that is pushing the boundaries of what their production environment can do. The Role You will develop and maintain automation systems, write PLC code and troubleshoot issues that stand between the production floor and peak performance. In your first six months, you will get a thorough understanding of the existing automation landscape, identify the most critical improvement opportunities and contribute to at least one efficiency-driving initiative that the business can measure. You will be the engineer who makes the production line smarter. What You'll Bring • 3+ years of automation engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment • Solid hands-on experience writing and maintaining PLC code across platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley or equivalent • Proven ability to troubleshoot automation systems and resolve issues efficiently under production pressure • Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to optimise automation processes • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on reliability and operational efficiency Nice to Have • Experience with SCADA systems or HMI development • Familiarity with robotics integration or industrial IoT • Background in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies What's in it for You €2,500 – €3,600 Gross / Month depending on experience and technical background.
