Description
We have an URGENT requirement for the position of Automation & Control Engineer (Substation Automation System – SAS) for a Saudi National Grid Project . Important: Please apply only if you have hands-on SAS DESIGN & ENGINEERING experience (profiles with only commissioning/maintenance will not be considered). 🔹 Role: Automation & Control Engineer (SAS) 🔹 Location: Saudi Arabia 🔹 Experience Required: 5+ years (Minimum 3–4 years in SAS Design & Engineering) Key Responsibilities: Preparation of SAS Base Design & Detailed Engineering Documents Configuration of SCADA/HMI (Zenon – Copa-Data) Engineering & integration of IEDs, BCUs, Gateways, Network Devices Hands-on experience with IEC 61850 (MMS/GOOSE), IEC 60870-5-101/104, DNP3 Design & implementation of SAS Network Architecture (PRP, HSR, RSTP, PTP, SNTP) Handling FAT / IFAT / SAT with client & end user Preparation of technical submittals, as-built documents & database backups Coordination with clients, vendors & internal teams for approvals & execution Knowledge of OT Cybersecurity (AD, WSUS, Antivirus, Backup, NMS) Mandatory Requirements: Strong experience in SAS Design & Engineering (NOT only commissioning) Hands-on experience in Zenon SCADA HMI (Copa-Data) Experience with National Grid / SEC SAS standards (TES / TMSS standards) Experience in IED configuration & IEC 61850 integration Experience in Control Center integration (IEC 101/104 / DNP3) Hands-on SAS DESIGN & ENGINEERING experience
