ASD Teaching Assistant Remedy Education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic ASD Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school based in Greenwich. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience supporting children or young people with autism and additional needs. The school are looking for a calm, reliable and proactive Teaching Assistant who can support pupils with their learning, communication, behaviour and daily school routines. Role Details: Position: ASD Teaching Assistant Location: Greenwich Pay: 95- 115 per day Hours: Full-time Start Date: ASAP / September roles available School Type: SEN / Secondary School Setting The Role: As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils with autism and a range of additional needs Work 1:1 and with small groups to encourage engagement and progress Help pupils access classroom activities and follow daily routines Support communication, social interaction and emotional regulation Assist teachers with learning resources and differentiated tasks Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour Provide a calm and consistent approach throughout the school day Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider support staff The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience supporting pupils with ASD or SEN A patient, caring and resilient approach Confidence supporting pupils with communication and learning needs Good behaviour management and communication skills Experience in a school, care, youth work, mentoring or childcare setting is desirable A positive attitude and willingness to get involved An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one This is a rewarding opportunity for an ASD Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference within a supportive school based in Greenwich.
