Audit & Accounts Salary: Competitive Firm: Moore Kingston Smith Career Stage: Experienced Professional Location: City of London Contract Type: Permanent Closing Date: Dec 29, 2023 2:19 pm Job description Working on a portfolio of clients in excess of £1million in our corporate client services team. This team is the fastest growing in the firm and is a key strategic priority for the firm. The group works with the firm`s largest clients and /or most complex audit clients. Typically these are either larger multinational private groups, AIM listed groups or smaller Public Interest Entities (PIE). The roles are 90%+ audit and can be further specialised by client sector or type to suit individual candidates. Our Corporate Client Service (CCS) team Our corporate audit team focuses on mid-market private, listed and PE-backed businesses. Our clients vary in size and maturity from multi-billion pound UK headquartered groups with global operations, to smaller high-growth businesses with significant financial backing - and everything in between. Our dedicated team of 60 includes long-standing Moore Kingston Smith people who specialise in the mid-market, but the majority are partners and staff who have joined us from the largest five UK audit firms. They are motivated by working in a business where they have the time, team and investment to deliver excellence to their clients. Key Tasks & Responsibilities • Day to day leadership of audits including being the key contact for the client, engagement partner and supporting team members • Leadership of all aspects of audit assignment including: -Job planning -Budgeting -Time management -Delegating to and supervising of team -Managing the audit for large groups and experience in group reporting. • Experience with cross border groups. • Being a proactive and positive leader within CCS, bringing best practice from your own experience into the group and sharing perspectives on how we develop it • Assisting with preparation and presentation of new client pitches • Identifying account development opportunities with clients and progressing these in liaison with the Partner.
