Location: Birmingham
Salary: £90 – £130
Contract Type: Part-time (Thursday and Friday)

We are seeking a proactive and organised Attendance Office Manager to join our team and help us ensure that students are attending regularly and punctually.
The Role:
As the Attendance Office Manager, you will play a key role in monitoring and improving student attendance. Working closely with school staff, students, and parents, you will help identify attendance issues, support interventions, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor daily attendance, ensuring accurate recording and follow-up on absences.
• Contact parents and carers regarding student absences and lateness.
• Work closely with students, families, and staff to address attendance concerns and implement strategies to improve attendance.
• Maintain and update attendance records using the school’s management system.
• Prepare attendance reports and provide data to the leadership team as required.
• Liaise with external agencies when necessary to support students with attendance issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience working in a school or similar environment.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Proficiency in using school management information systems (e.g., SIMS, Bromcom) is desirable but not essential.
