Associate (VA837) Location: • Cayman Islands Department: Corporate Experience: 5 - 6 years PQE with investment funds experience and qualified as a lawyer in a Commonwealth jurisdiction We currently have an opportunity for a talented investment funds lawyer to join the funds team, which sits within the broader corporate team in our Cayman Islands office. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regarded funds practice, advising a diverse international client base of investment managers, sponsors and financial institutions. As part of the investment funds team, you will advise on all aspects of fund formation, structuring and restructuring, as well as fund end-of-life matters, ongoing regulatory compliance and governance issues. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on both open-ended and closed-ended investment funds and a strong understanding of related matters, including fund formation, fund listings, NAV and subscription financing and regulatory compliance. In addition, the candidate will possess excellent technical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues and to thrive in a collaborative team environment. We are seeking a commonwealth qualified lawyer with a five to six years post qualification experience in investment funds from a top tier corporate, commercial or investment funds firm.
