The People & Culture team at SI-BONE has an opening for an Associate People & Culture Business Partner and is seeking an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about both people and operational efficiency.
As an Associate P&C Business Partner at SI-BONE, you will serve as a trusted advisor to department leaders across the organization — helping translate business strategy into people practices. You will own a broad range of business partnering responsibilities while building deep expertise in a high-growth, mission-driven medical device environment.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver P&C programs that drive organizational effectiveness, support our culture, and enable every employee to do their best work.
Location: Must be local to SF Bay Area and willing to be on-site in our Santa Clara offices a minimum of 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) with the ability and willingness to be on-site on Fridays based on business needs .
SI-BONE® is focused on helping patients in one of the most under-served, under-diagnosed, and under-treated areas in orthopedics, the sacroiliac (SI) joint. SI-BONE developed an innovative, patented implant to fuse the SI joint. The iFuse Implant System® provides a less invasive alternative to traditional sacroiliac (SI) joint fusion surgery and has been used in over 90,000 procedures to date.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
Build trusted advisor relationships with managers and leaders, helping them navigate complex people challenges with confidence
Partner with Finance on offer approvals, and compensation budgeting
Align talent strategies to business goals by collaborating across functions
Serve as a knowledgeable resource on policies, procedures, and compliance, escalating to legal counsel when needed
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Advise on job leveling, role design, and internal mobility to support long-term workforce planning
Employee Relations & Investigations
Conduct fair, thorough, and timely workplace investigations — from intake through resolution and documentation
Guide managers through performance improvement plans (PIPs), disciplinary actions, and terminations with professionalism and compliance rigor
Proactively identify employee relations trends and recommend systemic solutions before issues escalate
Performance & Talent Management
Support the design and execution of performance management cycles
Coach managers on setting clear goals, delivering effective feedback, and fostering accountable teams
Support managers in identifying and addressing talent needs, developing key talent, and managing talent gaps
