Building Services | Brisbane We are seeking an experienced Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our Brisbane Building Services team. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving the delivery of medium to large‑scale projects across a diverse portfolio, including defence, commercial, health and transport. This opportunity will suit a well‑established consultant who enjoys leading projects, developing people and contributing to a high‑performing, collaborative team, within a workplace that genuinely prioritises flexibility, trust and balance. The Role In this role, you will: • Lead the mechanical design and delivery of medium to large‑scale building services projects • Take ownership of project outcomes from concept through to construction • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the team • Manage project scope, programme and budget, ensuring successful delivery outcomes • Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams, architects and external stakeholders • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long‑term relationships and repeat work • Review designs and documentation to ensure technical quality, compliance and constructability You will contribute across a diverse portfolio spanning defence, commercial, health, education and transport, offering strong project variety and strategic input into key projects. About You Please note: Australian citizenship is required due to the nature of the projects. You Will Bring • 10–12+ years’ experience in mechanical building services engineering • Proven experience leading medium to large‑scale projects within a consultancy environment • Strong technical capability across HVAC and mechanical systems • Deep understanding of Australian Standards, NCC and authority requirements • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, clients and multidisciplinary coordination • Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing others • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, client‑focused approach Why You’ll Love Working Here This is a workplace that genuinely trusts and empowers its people.
