What you will do As part of the PGIM Credit Investment Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Private Credit investment business. This position focuses on loan servicing for PGIM Credit Direct Lending platform and requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless deal execution. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of loan servicing activities, ensuring operational excellence and compliance across all transactions. Your role will involve coordinating with deal teams, fund operations, and external banking partners to facilitate accurate and timely settlements. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing system capabilities and streamlining processes. This position is based in our office in Newark, NJ and will follow a hybrid schedule. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure ( 3 days in office) where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration. What you can expect Serve as the primary relationship manager for fund administrators and third-party lenders. Provide daily operational support to fund operations, deal teams, and business partners. Assist in the ongoing management of multiple middle-market direct lending products (e.g., CLO, BDC). Support transaction execution by tracking upcoming deal closings and managing the funding and hedging process. Review and validate closing documentation, including credit agreements, funding memos, and wire instructions. Ensure all trade and funding details are accurately captured in internal systems prior to settlement. Approve and review accurate trade booking, new loan setup, and reconciliation of cash discrepancies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Wall Street Office or equivalent loan servicing platforms. Navigate complex settlement activities with borrowers and the banking community. Manage daily production including cash forecasting and positioning. Ensure timely review and release of deal funding wires in alignment with standard operating procedures Support system enhancements and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk. Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. What you will bring 5+ years in the banking and financial services industry Bachelor undergraduate degree (all subjects considered) Familiarity with loan closing and servicing processes Strong attention to details Strong PC skills, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel Excellent communication and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities Critical thinking and problem-solving experience required Ability to convey sense of urgency and to work productively with both internal and external business partners What will set you apart? The salary range for this role is from $100,000 to $120,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
