It's a colorful world - make your mark by joining the BIC team today. The Associate Manager Supply Management ( Indirect) supports the procurement strategies related to the assigned categories. Assist on goals achievement by securing supply, providing significant year-on-year cost improvements while meeting financial and budget targets. Execute demand, productivity and innovative improvements while maintaining product quality and managing vendor service levels. Responsibilities: • Collaborate in the development of procurement strategies related to the assigned categories : CAPEX, FM and MRO. Understands the priorities and performance goals, following the strategy and supporting the strategic procurement efforts implementation and innovation in specific category areas as necessary and appropriate. Deploy supply management best practices. • Support the strategy implementation. Assists in the Track and trace forecasted performance vs. actual savings for the categories. Assist in mitigating any supply risk. • Receive information about sourcing market trends/results for categories and provide analysis to internal stakeholders. Collaborate with finance stakeholders to ensure savings are built and measurable into budgets and the annual operating plan. • Involved in the process to select and monitor suppliers. Participate in the supplier selection and negotiation process for key sourcing teams and overall management of the strategic suppliers to the group. • Understand the Group Sustainability Targets and the sourcing strategies including Sustainable Development • Involved in internal and external policies, regulations, contracts management and laws, as well as monitoring suppliers quality, risk and compliance • Support the Category Strategy Planning: teaming, category insights (with Analytics) & category profiles, opportunities & projects (with Business Partners) and category and buying channel strategy Key Performance indicators (KPI): • Spend performance metrics: YoY savings, % of spend under procurement control, Cost avoidance, % price compliant with contract, % standard deviation of price vs. index basket, % of spend under contract • Health metrics: Frequency of strategy reviews • Supplier metrics: # supplier vs. target, Supplier risk, supplier registration • Operational performance metrics: On Time Delivery, On Conformity Delivery • Transformation metrics: On time implementation of ideas/ initiatives • Sustainability Targets: % of recycled materials used/Ecovadis Scoring/% of scope 3 CO2 reduction • Innovation metrics: # of Supplier driven innovation delivered per year Stakeholders: • Internal: Supply & Deliver, Op.Ex, Manufacturing, R&D, Finance, Marketing, Commercial, Quality, Sustainability, Safety, Legal • External: Suppliers/ Service Providers Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Supply chain/Procurement or Business administration. 3+ years of relevant experience in Indirect procurement across any of the categories - Capex, Facilities management (FM) or MRO. Ability to work cross-functionally across Africa Good communication skills in English, French and Arabic. LI-MB1 What do we offer?
