Description
Kyowa Kirin is a specialty pharmaceutical company developing novel medicines across multiple disease areas. As Manufacturing Site IT Infrastructure Lead, you will own the planning, implementation, and execution of IT infrastructure at their new biologics manufacturing facility in North Carolina, ensuring secure and scalable networks supporting both manufacturing operations and office environments. What You'll Do • Lead network operations, server administration, security, and end-user support across manufacturing, laboratory, and office environments • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable network infrastructure supporting real-time manufacturing operations and manage firewalls for secure network segregation • Support on-premises and cloud server infrastructure including Process Control Systems (PCS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Data Historians, and Building Management Systems (BMS) • Develop and execute site-specific IT infrastructure strategies aligned with regional and global enterprise standards, ensuring compliance with GMP, EHS, and cybersecurity requirements • Mentor and develop team members while establishing clear goals, fostering collaborative communication, and driving accountability for measurable business results What You Need • Minimum 7 years overall IT experience with at least 3 years supporting manufacturing environments • Experience as an IT Infrastructure technical lead within pharmaceutical or manufacturing organizations • Strong expertise in network architecture, firewall design, network segmentation, and infrastructure maintenance • Hands-on experience with backup, restore, archival, and disaster recovery methodologies • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards, data protection, GMP regulations, and their impact on IT systems • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, TCP/IP networking fundamentals, DNS and DHCP, ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Cisco Firewalls/Switches • Linux operating systems knowledge Nice to Have • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline • Experience supporting startup biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities • Experience supporting international organizations within global environments Annual salary $156,900 to $215,700, plus 401(k) with company match, annual bonus program, generous PTO and holiday schedule, healthcare benefits (medical, dental, prescription drug, vision), HSA & FSA programs, life and disability insurance, tuition assistance, and other benefits
