Purpose of the role As Associate Director, Investor Relations, you will help establish and grow the agency’s investor relations and financial communications offering. Acting as a senior advisor to listed companies, you will lead strategic results communications, counsel boards and executives on market positioning and investor engagement and build strong relationships with analysts and the investment community. This is a client-facing, commercially focused role where you will drive client growth, new business, and ensure seamless delivery of annual reports and financial communications programmes, helping position the agency as a trusted partner to companies navigating the capital markets.   Main responsibilities Strategic Financial Communications & Growth Lead the development and delivery of investor relations and financial communications programmes, positioning the agency as a senior strategic partner to listed clients as well as private companies looking for funding, including the execution of IPO and secondary listing workstreams. Shape and refine clients’ financial narratives around results, transactions, and key milestones, ensuring messaging supports market positioning and long-term valuation. Play a key role in growing the capital markets offering by identifying opportunities to expand mandates, support new business and strengthen the agency’s presence in this space. Oversee preparation of core materials including earnings releases, investor presentations, regulatory announcements and capital markets communications.   Senior Client & Stakeholder Advisory Act as a senior advisor to boards and executive teams, preparing them for investor meetings, analyst calls, capital markets days and high-stakes communications moments. Build and maintain strong relationships with analysts, investors and financial media, supporting clients in strengthening credibility and engagement. Provide strategic counsel on market sentiment, peer positioning, investor expectations and complex situations including M&A, activism, or reputational risk.   Integrated Delivery & Collaboration Work closely with the UK Capital Markets and other strategic international teams to deliver annual reports, financial communications programmes and broader advisory services. Ensure consistency of messaging across reporting, investor engagement and corporate communications activity. Translate market intelligence, analyst feedback and shareholder insights into clear strategic recommendations for clients.   Proposition Development & Market Expansion Champion the Capital Markets and investor relations offering internally and externally, supporting cross-sell activity, targeted outreach, and new business proposals.
