What to Expect
• In your role as Associate Director Employment Law & Executive Governance, you will draft and negotiate top management/executives' contracts (employment and termination agreements as well as other contractual arrangements) and closely coordinate with the corporate office.
• You will be responsible for the German headquarters but also for global executive employment law topics.You will advise and support Culture & People Regional Heads and executives in employment law matters and act as their primary point of contact.
• You will act as an interface to external law firms, coordinate mandates and ensure efficient collaboration.
• You will support and develop strategies on legal and financial matters with STADA's shareholders (e.g., transaction-related topics, special bonus payments).
• You will lead the Culture & People workstream for M&A transactions, including due diligence and post-deal integration.
• You will conduct compliance investigations related to Culture & People topics and derive appropriate measures.
• You will review, draft and update global benefit policies and ensure their legal compliance and practical implementation.
Who We Are Looking For
• In your role as a fully qualified lawyer under German law with a strong focus on employment law, you ideally have experience in handling and negotiating management/executive contracts and advising on M&A transactions.
• You have several years of professional experience in employment law in a comparable role, especially in drafting and negotiating service, employment and termination agreements for senior leaders.
• You present yourself with confidence, negotiate skillfully with internal stakeholders, external law firms and shareholders, and drive your topics with determination and a solution-oriented mindset.
• You are able to translate complex legal and financial matters into clear, understandable and pragmatic guidance for executives and Culture & People.
• You work in a structured and pragmatic way and enjoy shaping governance frameworks, global policies and compliance processes within the Culture & People function.
• You thrive in a modern, international and dynamic corporate culture and are used to fast-paced decision-making processes.
• You are fluent in German and English.
