The Opportunity You will be embedded within a large, collaborative HKA team, supporting a major project through the provision of planning, programme analysis, and technical support. Working closely with both delivery-focused professionals, disputes and advisory specialists, you will help ensure that project programmes are robust, well understood, and capable of supporting both operational and commercial objectives. Role and Responsibilities: Reviewing and assessing project programmes, identifying issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement Delivering programme analysis, including critical path review, progress assessment, and performance evaluation Providing insight-led recommendations to support improved planning outcomes and project performance Supporting forward-looking programme assessment and scenario planning to inform key decisions Contributing to claims, variations, or issue evaluation where planning input is required Producing clear, structured outputs and reports tailored to a range of stakeholders Collaborating closely with disputes and advisory teams, ensuring planning outputs align with broader commercial and analytical objectives Skills and Experience We’re looking for a technically strong and commercially aware planning professionals who bring: A degree in engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) Proven experience as a Senior Planner or Project Planning Manager on major construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects Strong expertise in planning and scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, MS Project) Demonstrated ability to interpret complex programmes and identify key risks, delays, and performance drivers Experience in progress monitoring, reporting, and programme analysis Exposure to claims, variations, or programme-based assessments An interest in working within a consultancy, advisory, or disputes-aligned environment Strong communication skills, with the ability to present clear, structured insights to a range of stakeholders Full working rights to work in Malaysia Why HKA?
