We are looking for an Associate Director to join the largest and fastest growing online hotel booking platform in Asia based in Bangkok, Thailand. Agoda is a strongly data driven organization: as an Associate Director, your insights will impact strategic and tactical decisions driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
As a pivotal leader in Data Analytics, you will drive transformative business impact by leading a team to deliver strategic, action-oriented insights. Your role is crucial in shaping data-driven decisions that enhance Agoda's competitive edge and operational efficiency.
Strategic Leadership:
Spearhead analytical projects that align with stakeholder needs, from problem definition to insightful communication of results, influencing key areas like Marketing, Product, and Partner Services.
Lead initiatives such as predictive modeling to optimize customer wait times and call demand, customer segmentation for personalized service, and the creation of innovative dashboards for business intelligence.
Business Impact:
Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover business opportunities, leveraging data to inform strategic decision-making.
Proactively prioritize business strategies through insightful data analysis, driving growth and efficiency.
Ensure timely, error-free delivery of analytical outputs, enhancing decision-making processes across the organization.
Team Excellence:
Guide your team in defining business problems, extracting and analyzing data, and presenting findings through compelling visualizations.
Balance multiple priorities, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders on progress and delivery timelines.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, data science, computer sciences, engineering or a related degree program with outstanding academic results
8+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years of experience as a people manager
SQL proficiency: can extract data from large databases using SQL to develop data queries
Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
Strong business sense
Excellent communication and comprehension skills: confident communicating with people of differing levels of seniority, analytical understanding and from a wide variety of backgrounds
Organized and structured: can manage multiple, competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
Fluent in English both spoken and written – additional languages are a plus
