Ceres Financial Talent is partnering with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants committed to excellence and client satisfaction, to recruit an Associate Director. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join a thriving practice and develop their skills in a supportive environment. This full-time role will be primarily based in the Glenrothes office, with flexible working arrangements available. Key Responsibilities: • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact. • Financial Management: Manage the financial affairs of your clients, including preparation of accounts, tax returns, and management reports. • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other relevant legislation. • Business Advisory: Provide proactive advice and support to clients on a range of financial and business matters. • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional service to clients. Qualifications: • Experience: Proven experience in a practice accounting role, ideally with client management responsibilities. • Qualifications: Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience (QBE) with relevant experience in practice accounting. • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting. • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients. • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
