Line of Service Advisory Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Corporate Finance Management Level Associate Job Description & Summary At PwC, our people in Deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raising. We help our clients navigate complex transactions to successfully accomplish their strategic objectives. PwC Vietnam Corporate Finance (M&A) team is frequently appointed as financial advisor for both multinational and domestic companies to provide financial and strategic advice to our clients contemplating Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including fund-raising, buy-side and sell-side initiatives. We are currently looking for an Associate to join our team. Job description: • Draft core transaction materials, including information memorandum, management presentations, teasers, and pitch decks • Build and maintain integrated financial models and trading and transaction comparables • Take ownership of valuation analysis and translate the numbers into a clear view: what the figures say, and what they imply for the client's decision • Conduct industry, company, and market research to support deal origination and execution • Manage process logistics, including data rooms, buyer and investor outreach lists, Q&A, and timelines • Prepare and quality-check your own work to a high standard before it reaches senior bankers • Engage directly with clients, counsel, and counterparties as a credible day-to-day point of contact Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need: • A degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline with a strong academic record. CFA, ACCA, or CPA (in progress or completed) is a plus. • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in M&A, transaction services, audit, valuation, corporate finance, or other comparable analytical roles.
