Note: This position is a hybrid schedule for the Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale, FL offices. About Our Client Our client is a well-established, Florida-based multi-service law firm with a strong reputation for providing exceptional legal services. With multiple offices across the state, they offer a collaborative and supportive environment for attorneys to thrive. Job Description • Provide legal and regulatory analysis and counseling on local, state, and federal environmental laws, including permitting and compliance. • Handle matters related to Chapters 373 and 403 of the Florida Statutes, the Clean Water Act, and associated regulations. • Represent clients in administrative hearings, including proceedings before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings. • Prepare advanced legal analyses, draft documents, and pleadings with precision. • Work independently and collaboratively on complex cases involving environmental, land use, and local government law. Qualifications • Minimum of 1 year of experience in environmental law, with expertise in federal and state regulations. • Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar. • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. • Experience with regulatory agencies or local government is highly preferred. • Strong skills in legal research, complex drafting, and oral and written communication. • Experience in land use and local government law is a plus. • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
