Role: Student Assistant Barista/Retail supporting daily operations at Charger Central-Floyd, providing excellent customer service, assisting with retail sales, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. Responsibilities • Greet and assist customers professionally • Answer questions and help locate products • Deliver high-quality service during routine and busy periods • Prepare beverages and food according to recipes or requests • Operate POS system and assist with retail transactions • Restock merchandise, maintain displays, and manage inventory • Follow safety, sanitation, and operational policies • Communicate issues to supervisors and assist with training new employees • Perform additional duties to support operations Qualifications & Skills • High school diploma or equivalent • Currently enrolled and in good academic standing (GPA 3.0+) • Customer service and retail experience, including as a barista • Ability to obtain ServSafe certification • Strong interpersonal, computer, and communication skills • Ability to work flexibly, independently, and handle multiple tasks • Critical thinking and professionalism during busy periods
