• Senior Quantity Surveyor - Brighton • £30,000 - £50,000 An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a long-established and growing construction consultancy based in Brighton. The business have a long history of delivering award-winning surveying services across the South East, working on a wide range of projects across commercial, education, heritage and public sector schemes . Due to continued growth, they are now looking to strengthen their Quantity Surveying team with the appointment of a commercially focused Assistant Quantity Surveyor. They can provide ongoing APC support and have an excellent track record of supporting surveyors to become chartered. Role & Responsibilities of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor: • Assist in delivering cost management and quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle • Preparing cost plans, estimates and tender documentation • Managing procurement and contract administration (JCT) • Monitoring project costs, valuations, variations and final accounts • Acting as lead consultant, Employer’s Agent or Contract Administrator where required Skills & Experience of the Senior Quantity Surveyor: • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline • Strong pre and post-contract experience • Experience delivering projects independently within a consultancy environment • Excellent client-facing and communication skills • Ambitious and keen to contribute to business growth Salary & Benefits: • £30,000 - £50,000 • Discretionary bonus scheme • Hybrid working • APC support (where required) • Pension • Private medical insurance • Life insurance • Professional fees paid • Career development and training opportunities • Cycle to work and salary sacrifice car schemes • Regular social events and supportive team culture This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected consultancy with ambitious growth plans, offering strong progression, varied projects and the chance to play a key role within the Quantity Surveying team.
