YOUR MISSION
This position works directly under Teamhead Social Sustainability and is responsible for driving social compliance and human rights initiatives across assigned suppliers. The role manages audit programs, supplier engagement, grievance handling, and data-driven performance tracking to support continuous improvement in alignment with PUMA sustainability standards and local regulatory requirements.
The position oversees a portfolio of suppliers across multiple tiers within the assigned region, including Greater China, Japan and Australia. It works closely with sourcing teams, external auditors, and suppliers, and supports the implementation of global sustainability frameworks such as SLCP and FLA-aligned standards.
Task 1: Supplier Engagement & Capability Building
• Plan and deliver supplier engagement and capability-building initiatives, including supplier meetings, training programs, and participation in industry working groups to strengthen understanding and implementation of PUMA Code of Conduct and Sustainability standards.
• Conduct training sessions for sourcing teams, suppliers and factory management to enhance compliance awareness, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
Task 2: Audit and Compliance Management
• Conduct PUMA’s own social audits and manage third-party social audit processes, including planning, coordination, review of audit findings, and follow-up on corrective action plans (CAPs).
• Review and analyze audit reports (e.g: SLCP reports, or other audit reports converted from other FLA accredited brands and finalize findings according to PUMA requirements and internal standards.)
• Ensure timely and accurate tracking of audit results, validity timeline in internal systems, in accordance with internal Sustainability SOPs
• Provide clear insights, communicate key findings, risks and progress update to relevant stakeholders (e.g. Sourcing, internal teams) to support compliance risk management and decision making.
Task 3: Factory Compliance Following up & Remediation
• Conduct the on-site factory visits to follow up the compliance conditions, evaluate the effectiveness of CAP implementation.
• Work closely with factory management to address non-compliance issues, identify root causes, and support the development and execution of sustainable remediation actions.
• Monitor remediation progress and provide guidance to suppliers to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with PUMA standards and applicable local laws.
Task 4: Social KPI Data Collection and Management
• Collect, validate and analyze Social Sustainability KPIs across assigned suppliers to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Identify the trends, recurring issues, and key gaps to generate actionable insights and support continuous improvement initiatives and achieve PUMA Sustainability targets.
• Support internal reporting and contribute to data-driven decision making by providing clear analysis and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Task 5: Grievance Mechanism Handling and Management
• Manage and follow up on worker grievances received through internal and external channels, ensuring timely and appropriate investigation and resolution.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including suppliers, internal teams, and 3rd party grievance platforms to ensure smooth implementation, effective handling the cases while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
• Track grievance cases and analyze trends to identify systemic issues and support preventive actions.
Task 6: Reporting & Team Contribution
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on activities, compliance status, and key updates to ensure team visibility and alignment.
• Support team and contribute to the continuous improvement of sustainability processes, standards, tools, SOPs and handbooks.

YOUR TALENT
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred (covering the area of expertise required)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in social compliance, sustainability, or related field
• Hands-on experience working with supplier factories and audit processes
• Familiarity with social compliance standards (e.g. SLCP, FLA or equivalent)
• Experience in apparel, footwear, or manufacturing industry
• Experience working with global brands or regional supply chains
• Strong background in Occupational Heath and Safety (OHS)
• Exposure to data analysis or reporting tools (e.g. advanced Excel, Power BI)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Good stakeholder coordination and engagement skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
• Solid knowledge of relevant regulations and local law in Vietnam
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Fluent in English (required)
• Travel Time: 50% (Frequent factory visits, mainly within China)
