REQ13137 Assistant Manager, Revenue Management (Open)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for making pricing decisions & room allocation based on daily analytics. Make instant, accountable, independent decisions that directly impact daily revenue based on statistical analysis. Generating analytical statistics and reporting for executives on a timely basis.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage Occupancy and ADR daily for both short-term and long-term to maximize enterprise profitability; identify distressed periods and initiate contingency plans.
• Prepare hotel forecast and budget to facilitate hotel operation and identify business opportunities
• Review and validate KPI data, interpret prevailing trends and prepare reports for review by management
• Analyse a variety of issues on an ad hoc basis as requested by management
• Be responsible for auditing reports versus budgetary, historical, and industry benchmarks
• Development and implementation of analytical models performing statistical analysis and reporting
• Work closely with various business units, and be involved in developing short-term and long-term revenue strategies when appropriate

• Candidate should possess strong interpersonal, leadership, and communications skills and an aptitude for very high-pressure spot decisions

QUALIFICATIONS:
E xperience
• Successful candidate must have at least three years of relevant work experience
• Candidate must have a proven track record in highly numerate and analytical roles
• Preference is given to candidates with gaming or hospitality experience
Education
• Candidate must hold a degree from an accredited institution in the fields of hospitality, gaming, statistics, finance, business administration, related fields are preferred.
Skills / Competencies
• Candidate must have a mature presentation style and be comfortable interacting with senior management
• Candidate should have strong English writing and excellent Cantonese/Mandarin speaking skills
• Candidate must be near expert proficiency in MS Excel and quite strong in PowerPoint
• Candidate must have advanced skills in developing/maintaining relational databases, including SQL and SAS
• Strong project management skill is a must
• Expert understanding and experience working with advanced forecasting techniques
