Description
[What the role is] You will be responsible for managing JTC's portfolio of vacant factory , ensuring they are well-maintained and ready for handover to incoming tenants. This includes overseeing outsourced facilities management contractors (FMC), coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. [What you will be working on] • You will plan and oversee the maintenance regimes for vacant and tenanted industrial properties, managing outsourced FMC vendors to ensure works are carried out to the required standards and within stipulated timelines. This includes monitoring vendor performance and ensuring service levels are met. • You will work closely with internal stakeholders on allocation schedules and manage vendors for required repairs and retrofit works on vacant properties and tenanted properties . • You will liaise with external stakeholders and government agencies to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory processes, including Fire Safety and Pollution Control requirements such as PFI (Periodic Fire Investigation) and PSI-related processes. • You will also support or lead procurement exercises and administer contracts for FM services in relation to the management and maintenance of vacant and tenanted properties [What we are looking for] • Background in Facilities Management, Building, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related discipline • Experience in facilities,  property management, and/or project management,  preferably in an industrial or commercial setting • Familiarity with government procurement processes and contract administration will be an advantage • Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. fire safety, environmental compliance) is preferred • Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively • Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
